Ballet Victoria + Climate and the Arts present with the Victoria Choral Society and
members of the Victoria Symphony: a program of dance, music and song focusing on the need
to find balance and harmony for nature and humanity!
This epic choir and dance program boasts world renown composers including Ola Gjeilo (Sunrise
Mass), Canadian Composer Leonard Enns (Ten Thousand Rivers of Oil) as well as works by
Beethoven, Holst, Knut Nystedt and Arvo Pärt.
Ballet Victoria’s Artistic Director Paul Destrooper & Victoria Choral Society’s music director
and conductor Brian Wismath have teamed up with choreographers Andrea Bayne, Bethany LeCorre
and Kennadie Friedlander to bring you a unique artistic experience that will “move your heart
and soul, and look at the balance of one’s life with nature!”
This presentation is part of the Re-Connect Festival, presented by Climate and the Arts and
Creatively United and sponsored by Victoria Foundation through the Gail O’Riordan Climate and
the Arts Legacy Fund.
