Join Rockrose Farm for their first collaborative workshop in partnership with the Let’s Go Slowly Series hosted by Natalia Solis Vermette of Apothecary Floral! This workshop offers participants the opportunity to delve deeper into their creativity, learning about working with seasonal greenery and dried plant materials to create a gorgeous winter wreath.
Natalia is one of Victoria’s most sought-after floral designers. Her thoughtfully created designs highlight flowers grown in the Pacific Northwest. Drawing inspiration from the changing seasons, she works with nature's ever-changing color palette and draws inspiration from paintings, music, and, above all, the people she designs for. Natalia's goal in creating art with flowers is to channel her own energy into each design, and she will share thoughts on her design philosophy as well as techniques from her years of experience.
At the start of the workshop, you'll be invited to tour the farm. Ariel Rubin, owner of Rockrose Farm, will share insights specific to the season, from planting and harvesting to cultivated varieties. Participants will have opportunity to ask questions, learning about growing practices tailored to microclimates, regenerative gardening principles, and soil nutrition.
RSVP/ticket required ($120 per person). No previous floral experience is necessary. Whether you're a budding floral designer, a creative professional, or simply seeking to connect with nature, our Farmer & Florist Series offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the cycles of the natural world.
